Thx to the PC for being so lame .... The AMIGA still reigns supreme!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
See! We're still alive! After a slight delay it has finally been
released.
Well, that's got rid of all those pesky 1.3 users now anywayz. They're
already experiencing the phenomenon we affectionately named BEYOND SANIT-E
FOUR.
(What I've done is set up the disk so that 1.3 users, b-coz of their lack
of memory, are thrown straight into the mag. Whereas 2.0/3.0 users go to
Workbench like this. Why? Well, so you can take advantage of the RAM
INSTALLER!)
RAM INSTALLER:
You may have noticed an additional BSE4 icon on this disk
("BS4.RAMInstall"). If you double-click this it will install all of the
articles on disk two to the RAM. This is intended to speed up accessing
and save disk swapping on single-drive machines. IMPORTANT - You will
require a minimum of 2MEG to use the installer (e.g. a standard A1200).
Only use a single drive when using the installer. For example, boot from
your internal drive and once the installer asks for disk two. Remove disk
one and insert the second disk. If both disks are in drives simultaneously
the installer will NOT work.
If you experience OUT OF MEMORY problems then disable any unnecessary
drives from the boot options (e.g. Hard Drives, External Drives) and
ensure that you boot from BSE4 disk one.
HARD DRIVE INSTALLERS:
As promised in BSE3 there are installers for all issues of BSE on disk two.
They use the official Commodore installer and all ya have to do is
double-click the relevent icon and follow the instructions.
SOURCE CODE:
The source code to accompany Slade's Assembler tutorial is located in the
!SAUCE! directory on disk two. There is also a script for ToolsManager.
...That's all!
C yA l8R!
zYLAX'S LOG: SUPPLEMENTAL - Please have patience whilst the mag is loading
as I've had to crunch almost everything on the diskz.
